Annie is a great book; I personally love it. I really like the themes/ topics presented and discussed in these poems as it shines a light on the challenges women face in society, especially in our country. I actually relate to some of these poems which is why I appreciate the fact that you're spreading awareness through your work; some of these poems made me very emotional. I feel like these issues are not discussed enough and I'm glad that you're able to be a voice for the women out there who are too afraid to speak up. I also love that you used our local dialect in some of your poems; it was fun to read. Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to reading more of your work in the future.

The book Annie by Jessica Goupaul brings advocacy for many women who suffer varying forms of abuse. As I read from poem to poem, I saw the protagonist “Annie” move from being a victim to a triumphant victor, breaking free. I pray this book reaches other women so they can also do the same. I would recommend this book to those who may be in a similar situation as Annie and those who are not, as it raises awareness of domestic and gender-based violence.
Jessica, I really pray that God continues to use through your gift of writing to reach, encourage, and advocate. It's really heartwarming to see young women making 6 I'm really proud of you!!!
Keep excelling!
Ps. I'm waiting for a second book.
